ERCOLANO
Ercolano meets a myriad of interior decor needs. With an elegant appearance and weighty hand, it is reminiscent of cotton velvet, but without any of the disadvantages. Crush-resistant, hard-wearing and machine washable, Ercolano is a carefree velvet. Moreover, it is made with a special recycled and flame-retardant yarn for fire resistance according to the most rigorous standards, surpassing even the highest Italian fire resistance rating, “Classe 1IM”. Choose Ercolano for a modern, innovative and sustainable update of a timeless classic. Its color palette is fresh and original, with combinations and patterns that never fail to catch the eye, radiating an energy that makes a lasting impression.
REGINA
Houndstooth is a quintessentially timeless motif. This faux solid is the go-to choice for bold interiors as fascinating as the story behind the pattern. Originating in nineteenth-century Scotland, houndstooth was initially used for the cloaks worn by shepherds. But two events would give houndstooth its own chapter in fashion history. The first occurred in 1934, when Edward VIII, Prince of Wales, was featured in “Vogue” wearing a houndstooth suit. The pattern would go on to gain a cult following among the British nobility. The second event leading to its wide popularity was when Coco Chanel took inspiration from the British upper class and began using houndstooth in her designs. However, her rival, Christian Dior, is known as the first fashion designer to embrace it. His all-time bestsellers were the women’s houndstooth suits created in the 1950s and 60s. The pattern would become a hallmark of Dior style and was even used for the packaging of the Diorissimo and Miss Dior fragrances. This distinctive motif has also spilled over into a variety of other sectors over the years, and Unito Fabrics offers houndstooth in 12 color variations specifically designed so that it can even be used on larger surfaces. With a soft, velvety hand, it is inviting to the touch and shimmers with the refined gloss that only the most luxurious chenille can achieve. Regina is washable.
TECLA
Tecla is a hard-wearing, heavily textured canvas. Its deep, multi-layered effect is created by piece-dyeing the fabric twice for a blend of hues in a wide range of colors, putting a new spin on traditional design. It is washable and recommended for curtains and upholstery.
LIPARI
This extra-wide textural sheer has a soft and welcoming feel. Its substantial yarn with a bouclé effect combines beauty, the charming imperfections of the natural world and ease of care. Lipari filters light elegantly in an array of 15 different colors. Scoring 20,000 in the Martindale rub test, Lipari may be used not only for curtains but for a wide range of home decor accessories as well, such as coverlets and other decorative items.
SALINA
Soft to the touch and with a fluid drape, Salina is a practical choice for long curtains. In Salina, the slub weave of polyester yarns rivals the natural beauty of plant-based fibers. The fabric is washable, and the palette is alluringly minimal with a range of tastefully solid colors.
